Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle

On the September 28th edition of WNRN’s Sunday Morning Wake-Up Call, Rick Moore welcomes Beth Golden of Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle. The LVCA provides one-on-one, confidential tutoring in basic literacy and English as a second language to adults living or working in Charlottesville and Albemarle County. This is also pledge week at WNRN, and Rick speaks eloquently about the importance of community radio.

Special note: My apologies to Rick Moore for being tardy in posting this one so late. The show was posted on time using the Wake-Up Call podcast so make sure you sign up for that feed if you have not done so already.
