Charlottesville–Right Now: The Reverend C. Douglas Smith on higher poverty rates in Virginia

The Reverend C. Douglas Smith is the executive director of the Virginia Interfaith CenterG, for Public Policy. Smith called in to speak with Coy Barefoot on the October 18th edition of WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now. This week, the Virginia Interfaith Center released the news that more Virginians are enrolling for food stamps. Smith says that means more residents of the Commonwealth are living in poverty.
