Charlottesville–Right Now: Virginia 21’s Laura Baker explains new program to train poll workers

Laura Baker is the director of communications for Virginia 21. The voter advocacy group has begun a new education program called Democracy 101 to educate younger citizens on how to vote and how to become poll workers on election day.

“It’s about getting young people invested in the Commonwealth for the good of the generation and for the good of Virginia’s future,” says Baker.

Baker was a guest on the September 20 edition of WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now with Coy Barefoot.
