Today on Home Grown, David talks to two artists who have put on their arts organizer hats to better spread the good word and the good art. First, Mike Bizarro is putting together an A Capella Hip Hop night at The Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar. It’s local wordsmiths speaking their words without their beats. True to his role, Mike drops bits of knowledge about the nature of hip hop and the nature of art as if the knowledge was going out of style. Next, David welcomes back Miller Murray Susen just as Live Arts Theatre welcomes her back as its Education Director. We talk to Miller about what Live Arts offers in terms of education and what she hopes it can offer in the future.
