Mystery writer and screenwriter Brian Lee Weakland is one of three winners of the 2012 Virginia Screenwriting Competition for a script called Klaus the Great about a 99-year-old retired philosophy professor whose legacy is at stake. Weakland is a first time attendee of the Virginia Film Festival.
