County approves cohousing project despite stormwater concerns

At its meeting on November 14, 2007, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors approved the rezoning of six acres near Crozet for a planned residential development. That’s not unusual, but this time, the property will be used to bring something called co-housing to the county.

Charlottesville Tomorrow produced a podcast of the public hearing where the meeting was approved. You can also read the narrative on the Charlottesville Tomorrow blog.

Bob Gibson, political reporter for the Charlottesville Daily Progress, joins Coy Barefoot each Monday afternoon for a discussion of Virginia politics on WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now.
