1.10.11 Best-selling author, columnist, and political cartoonist Ted Rall joins Coy to continue today’s discussion of the Gabrielle Giffords shooting. The conversation efforts to truly understand the root cause, or causes, of the tragedy which occurred in Arizona over the weekend, and among those suggested are the state of gun control, political rhetoric from both extremes of the spectrum, and disturbed individuals doing crazy things. Rall likens today’s hate-spewing political atmosphere to driving, saying the fact that we don’t have more accidents than we do despite how little attention individuals behind the wheel pay to the road is miraculous.
