On the November 9th edition of WNRN’s Sunday Morning Wake-Up Call, Rick Moore chats with local young talents Pilar Marshall and Will Denton. Pilar sings, acts, and dances in productions at Live Arts and other area venues. “Willie DE” is the lead singer for The Wave, a trio that plays regularly at local venues such as Gravity Lounge. Rick plays some music, and talks to the youths about balancing school work, social life, and the drive to perform.
Carleigh Nesbit dropped by WNRN this morning to promote her new album and CD release party with band-mates Carl Anderson and Jeff Romano. She was interviewed by Anne Williams on Acoustic Sunrise and played a few songs. Carleigh’s CD release party is on Friday, September 26, at Gravity Lounge.

The Charlottesville Podcasting Network is proud to debut a new series of feature reports on the cultural and spiritual life of the South Asian community in Central Virginia. Our reporter Deepak Singh has worked for the BBC, and currently calls Charlottesville home. Deepak will be producing regular stories, and we will eventually have a dedicated podcast for the South Asian community.
