How clean are the waterways in our area? If the answer is no, that doesn’t just affect the quality of life in Central Virginia. That’s because rivers and streams in our area eventually empty into the Chesapeake Bay. Pat Calvert of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Chris French of the Rivanna Conservation Society join Rick Moore on WNRN’s Sunday Morning Wake-Up Call to talk about the state of the bay, how pollution affects marine life, and potential solutions.
