  1. This e-mail is to Jed Willams. I listen to your program most every night. I have enjoyed it very much and would like to submit a way that you could increase your markey share at least during basketball season. Before I get to that let me tell you a little about myself. I plaued nasketball at Uva from 58 to 62. D Sounds like a long time ago doesn’t it. It is. When I finnished playing after being captain for my last two years I was sixth on the all time scoring list. I still am tied for the most field goals 19 with Buzzy Wilkinson and Jim Conley. I’m only one of 7 or so players to scuore over foerty points in a game. By the way all my points were without the 3 point shot so there is a difference compared to todats totals. I digress. After graduating I coached in Albemarle County and also at the University with Bill Gibson and Gene MaHaffey. We had the winningest Freshman Tea in the history of Virginia ….14 and 1. Okay, how can you increase you share of the market? I believe you can do that by having me on the show 2 or three times a week. When I returned to C”ville about nine ueras ago I did a little radio with Mac McDonald. He had a morning show and I was able to do a couple of mornings with him and a short lived nightly program with one of his assistants. I would ask you to talk with Mac. If Mac thinks this is a bad idea then I go along with his feedback. I would be surprised if he did. I was working then and have since retired. I have time and really no other commitments. I can add to your show a perspective ypu currently don’t have……I played ACC Basketball and give an insight from a players perspective as well as a coaches. Best of all I won’t cost you a dime. If you need me at the games I can also be available. Look you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.I can be available to talk in person. Let me know and again call Mac and lets meet for a converesation.

    Sincerely,
