Dan Olmsted, editor and founder of a new website that tracks autism news called the Age of Autism, joined Charlottesville Right Now on the November 17, 2008 edition of WINA’s “Charlottesville-Right Now!”

 

On Monday, November 10th, 2008, Nationally recognized political blogger, Ken Bernstein, joined Charlottesville Right Now to discuss last week’s elections.

 

Albemarle County Supervisor David Slutzky joined Coy Barefoot on the November 10, 2008 edition of WINA’s “Charlottesville–Right Now!” to talk about his potential challenge to Delegate Rob Bell (R-58). The topic was recently covered in the Daily Progress. The conversation begins with Slutzky’s thoughts on last week’s elections, but Slutzky also responded to the article. Slutzky says he will make his decision on what to do next after the first of the year.

 

On Monday, November 10th, 2008, George Gilliam and Cristina Lopez-Gottardi Chao,  from the University of Virginia’s Miller Center of Public Affairs joined Charlottesville Right Now to discuss events going on at the Miller Center.

 

On Thursday, October 23rd, James Alcorn, the Policy Advisor for the Virginia State Board of Elections, joined Charlottesville Right Now to discuss voter registration issues and laws.

 

On Thursday, October 23rd, nationally syndicated radio talk-show host, Thom Hartman, joined Charlottesville Right Now to discuss the upcoming Presidential Election. Thom Hartman can be heard Monday-Friday from 1450 WVAX.

 

Anthropologist Richard Handler, an Associate Dean at the University of Virginia,  joined Charlottesville Right Now to discuss recent comments about “the real Virginia” made by representatives of the John McCain campaign.

 

Chris Graham, Founder and Editor of The Augusta Free Press, joined WINA’s “Charlottesville–Right Now” on Wednesday, October 22nd to discuss the upcoming elections.

 

Heraldo Munoz is the Chilean Ambassador to the United Nations and the author of The Dictator’s Shadow: Life Under Augusto Pinochet. He joined Coy Barefoot on WINA’s “Charlottesville–Right Now!” to discuss the September 11th, 1973 coup that lead to Augusto Pinochet’s reign over Chile.
