11.30.10 Journalists and authors Paul Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Gould join Coy to discuss recent political occurances in Afghanistan. Their most recent book which addresses the current state of the Middle East in tremendous detail is Invisible History: Afghanistan’s Untold Story. The conversation begins with the recent “Wikileaks” scandal but goes on to cover a wide range of topics from both the perspective of the White House and that of civilians in these war-torn countries. Their next book will be Crossing Zero: The AfPak War at the Turning Point of American Empire, and is set for release in February 2011.
