The Mind and Heart Show host Dr. Jeff Fracher talks with Chuck Collins, who recently retired as the Human Rights Advocate at Western State Hospital in Staunton. Mr. Collins is currently a consultant for ARC of the Piedmont in Charlottesville. Human rights issues in the treatment of the mentally ill and those with developmental delays are discussed in this podcast.
Dr. Jeff Fracher, an Albemarle County-based forensic psychologist, is the go-to person for a variety of competency, sanity and sex offender evaluations. He is one of about 15 forensic psychologists in Virginia and does more than 250 evaluations a year.
