Host Rick Moore speaks with Cartie Lominack (executive director for the shelter), Mark Humbertson (design house committee), Moyanne Harding (designer), Ami Smith (designer), and Michelle Willis Adams (designer) about the purpose of the shelter for help in emergency and the design house fundraiser. The shelter helps people that are victims of domestic violence, finds safe shelters for people, has a 24 hour hot line, provides counseling and children’s programs, etc. The design house fundraiser benefits the shelter and starts on May 6 with the top hat gala from 7-10 PM.
