7.12.10 Eric Strucko, Vice Chair of the Albemarle School Board, continues to update Coy Barefoot on the happenings of the School Board. Topics include the relationship between the Board of Supervisors and the School Board, cuts in the budget and how the county plans to respond.

7.12.10- Brian Wheeler, of Charlottesville Tomorrow, updates Coy Barefoot on growth and development for the county.  Topics include the best pie in the state, the Board of Supervisor’s Action Plan for economic growth, and possible traffic patterns for the 250 bypass and 29.

7-12-10- Bob Holsworth, of Virginia Tomorrow, joins Coy as he does every Monday afternoon.  Bob Holsworth serves as a member of the Virginia Higher Education Committee, which met for the first time today.  Bob filled Coy in on the meeting, where the issue of whether to raise or  cap out of state enrollment at UVA was discussed.  Other topics include an update on the National D-Day memorial in Bedford.

Host Rick Moore speaks with Rusty Cempre (worker at Price Hyundai) and Steve Bullock (worker at Edgecomb’s Auto) about car issues including the check engine light, air conditioning, and more.

On July 11, Host Rick Moore speaks with intuitive analyst, Lee Channing. Channing has had psychic abilities ever since she was a child, and now works as an intuitive analyst for people near and far. Topics such as today’s solar eclipse and how the new moon is a great time to set your intentions for the following month, the different energies in the current oil crisis, personal health, and more.

7.9.10- Eric Strucko, of the Albemarle School Board, gives Coy an update on the county schools.  Topics include the resolution of the dugout debate.

7.8.10- Historian Rick Britton and Coy Barefoot continue their countdown of the most important Civil War Battles which took place in Virginia.  Today’s topics include, The Battle at Cross Keys, The Battle at Port Republic, and The Battle of Gaines’ Mill.   Tune in next Thursday to listen as the countdown continues.

7.8.10- Chris Graham of the Augusta Free Press, gives Coy Barefoot, the latest information on the economy of Augusta County and Waynesboro.   Other topics include the Oil Spill in the Gulf and the Obama Administration.

7.8.10- Michelle Krisel ,the General Director of Ash Lawn, and Chis Larkin, the Artistic Director, chat with Coy Barefoot about the Ash Lawn Opera’s current season.

7.8.10- Sean Cudahy, a graduate of Albemarle High School, discusses the recent student newspaper article which was censored with Coy.  Cudahy, the former editor, explains how the Administration stopped the printing of the Newspaper’s last edition which contained an editorial about gym classes at the school.

Ted Pitney stops by the WNRN studio to talk with Anne Williams about his beginnings as well as his latest E.P. He was also kind enough to give us a few tunes while he was here.
