On the January 18 edition of the Sunday Morning Wake-Up Call, Rick talks with Marnie Allen, director of transitional housing and the soup kitchen for the Salvation Army in Charlottesville. They discuss the increased call for services due to the current economic conditions, the role of transitional housing (in contrast to homeless shelters), and what the Salvation Army does when not ringing bells in front of stores during the holidays.
