I think the only time people are going to get excited about is when pollution and over fishing practices have drained the ocean on its resources thus not only making it hard to feed the world's populace, but causing irreversible damage to the ecology of the planets bodies of water. Glad to see that you’re helping to raise awareness of environmental pollution. The levels of Persistent Organic Pollutants in aquatic animals is something that it’s difficult to get the average guy on the street excited about. Put it in the context of a recreational activity however and it makes more of an impact. I should use that approach on my site.
