Drake is the Chairman of Republican Party of Albemarle County, and here he discusses the “Truth in Taxation” Town Hall meeting which occurred Monday night. The purpose of the meeting was to “bring more openness, honesty and fairness to the budgeting process.” People came to talk about their own experiences with increasing property values, and how tax rate changes affect them.
