Charlottesville–Right Now: WHTJ, Sorenson Announce Documentary on Local Political LeadersA new documentary will follow young Virginians as they learn what it takes to be a leader. The Community Ideas Station will film attendees of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership’s Political Leaders Program. Sean O’Brien is Sorensen’s executive director, and D.J. Crotteau is the general manger at WHTJ. They join Coy Barefoot on WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now to discuss the documentary, which will debut in the spring of 2008. Producers will track over thirty people enrolled in the program to find out how their political beliefs and world views will be changed by the program. Crotteau is anticipating a national broadcast release for the planned hour-long documentary.
