Jane Kusiak is the Executive Director for the Council on Virginia’s Future, an organization created in 2003 to help better the quality of life in Virginia. She and Nancy Roberts join Coy Barefoot on WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now to discuss a website they recently helped launch – Virginia Performs. The site brings together an immense amount of information on Virginia’s economy, education, and family life (among other topics), designed to help Virginians stay informed on public policy issues. The information is a collection of research from focus and interest groups across the state, which tells how Virginia is doing compared with the rest of the nation, and provides long-term goals and strategies to improve how Virginia performs.
