Virginia finally has a state budget after the General Assembly voted on amendments Governor Tim Kaine suggested. However, Delegate David Toscano of Charlottesville is concerned the Republican majority voted to kill most of those amendments, including $3.75 million for a project he says would have helped Lynchburg prevent raw sewage from pouring into the James River. Toscano had his say on the June 28 edition of WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now.
