The folks who bring you the Virginia Fesitval of the Book are turning their attention to bringing you the state’s official encyclopedia. Matthew Gibson is the managing editor of the Online Virginia Encyclopedia, a project of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. Barbara Fried is a member of the VFH Board. They both joined Coy Barefoot on the June 5 edition of WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now to discuss the project, which will debut next year.

Charlottesville–Right Now is broadcast live Monday through Friday on NewsRadio 1070 WINA from 4 to 6pm. Best-selling author and historian Coy Barefoot is the host and producer. To participate in the program, you can call 434-977-1070. Coy can be reached at barefoot@wina.com.
