Developer Barbara Fried joined Coy Barefoot on the June 5 edition of WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now to talk about the unique role that Innisfree Village plays in our community. Innisfree was founded near Crozet in 1971 by parents of children with mental disabilities. Thirty-five years later, Innisfree is billed on its website as “stable, therapeutic alternative to institutional or group home living.”

Charlottesville–Right Now is broadcast live Monday through Friday on NewsRadio 1070 WINA from 4 to 6pm. Best-selling author and historian Coy Barefoot is the host and producer. To participate in the program, you can call 434-977-1070. Coy can be reached at barefoot@wina.com.
